Engine details: |
originally a "fuelie"; had a 283ci "civilian" Chevy in it when I bought it in 1967; put a 350ci from a wrecked 1976 Chevy w/4K miles in 1978; ZZ4 went in, in 2000 |
Other details: |
painted "GLOSSY White" by Lou Passmore, Erie, Pa. in 1979. NO evidence of ever having been hit, according to Lou. He noticed a small hole repair between tail lights, thinks it was probably dropped at the factory...??? |
|
Car history: |
paid $1600 with nom, 2 tops, 4 speed in 1967, showing ~36K miles. Turned the odometer over a year ago; now shows 368 miles. Bought the correct FI unit + correct distributor 10+ years ago, not knowing if I was going to go "stock" or "crate". Paid more than twice what I paid for the car originally. Looks good sitting on a shelf in the garage Was ONE of FIVE Chevrolet-manufactured convertibles invited to attend the Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl Victory Parade in 2006 |
